aero Regarding the situation, as you say, Europe, c is not Folichon, but it's the same thing elsewhere, more or less.
But I tend to think that Europe in fact, there are easier for unskilled workers on a first type of aircraft JAR.

UAE for example, requires QT A320, 330 or 340 or 737 (bit, I think has Duaba Air for example) or in the case of Emirates substantial experience another type of preference JAR EFIS.
I know a pilot who ATR42/72 CBD galley with a terribly dry QT A320. After a few months, he had an interview recently in a small French company on A320. Deja

to increase your chances de trouver un job, a mon humble avis faut investir dans une QT A320. Eventuellemnt 737 mais ca, c est a toi de voir. Pour moi, ya pas photo, va pour le 320. Disons que tout depend de ta vision personnelle, de ta situation familiale, si tu es pret a d'expatrier.

Evidemment, ce genre de qualif, c'est pour faire de la ligne.. et la ligne de nos jours, c est du low cost. Et le Low Cost, c'est rigolo 1 an, apres...on a envie de lever le pied parce que ca tue la santé et donc on ressent l'envie de postuler dans une vraie airline d'une epoque que l'on a pas connue, sauf ceux qui ont la chance d'etre a AF. Remarque pour les nostalgiques, il reste encore l'Afrique pour remonter le temps, heureusement!

A friend is looking for promo work and despite his qualifications AWACS, QT 707 changed, it just because it is not EFIS tralala .. short .. he hoped Emirates EK. There is, in my opinion, more likely than at EK Etihad (EY) when no good qualifying for example. You do not spit on EK in these times. EK is no longer part of what I call the best of expat clubs that are for me now, Dragonair, Cathay, Etihad. By cons, forget time passing has left in the first 2 companies. I know some co-pilots of Virgin Atlantic A340-500 qualified or who are at Cathay Etihad simply because they covet a place CBD faster. There are piles of resumes from QT A320 EY.

You have to be on the lookout for it is an airline that starts somewhere in the world.
