How Big Is A J10 Size Skate?

RIP Jonquet, longue vie à ses vampires!

That frustration is rough and heavy when we traveled the last lines of the novel posthumously and unfinished Thierry Jonquet , Vampires. A flood of words interrupted by the death of their father and only wanted to run even on paper. Thierry Jonquet, the author of Mygale and a few other nuggets, took off toward the cemetery, taking with him the secrets of his plot.

The story begins to never end. There is an exciting start, just a medium, and the fantasy of an end that is six feet underground. It is sad and infuriating to be cut in the middle of the narrative, as if a small-time thief snatched the romance of your hands. We then wanted to shake the book as we frantically wake the dead to bring down the words on pages that do not exist. But if the frustration is great, fun remains intact. No fewer than 184 beautiful pages for what could become the masterpiece of its author. The writing is subtle and dark humor borders on the sordid story in which a family of vampires has taken up residence in the heart of Belleville, where cosmopolitan living Thierry Jonquet. The author displays an approach here (finally) fine on the original vampire myth, recuisiné too many times with the same sauce. The vampires are Jonquet touching and moving away from old photographs of their models.

Author hired former Trotskyite, the author gives us, through the vampire myth, an allegory of social marginalization, exclusion and differences. The novel begins in fact as a wink with the description of a miserable slum on the outskirts of the Romanian capital.
Jonquet juggles ironically with the ills of our society and switches codes. We love the idea of the Vampire excluded, banned, yet sophisticated and educated, who loves dining at La Tour d'Argent and drink bottles of grand cru from a dead aristocrat More than a century, damn him to get better with age ...

Ironically troubling that an author dealing with death in his latest book, but casting off too soon.
If vampires are (almost) forever, Jonquet is also a literary heritage which will come no doubt in posterity ...

For other novels about vampires classic, but this time finished, see here.

The novel is the raw material of the 7th art lights and the Brothers had already realized by adapting Jules Verne.
How many movies portray Tarzan, Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, ghosts or Three Musketeers? Turnips, masterpieces, whatever, they come alive before our eyes. Very often we see without reading. Dexter can attest.
Clockwork Orange, Planet of the Apes, Eyes Wide Shut, Psycho, All the beast dies, Shutter Island, Gone with the Wind, The Godfather, Fear and Loathing in LA, Misery, Silence of the Lambs, Alice in Wonderland, James Bond Battle Royal Salo, Contempt, Lolita, Pinocchio, The Wizard of Oz Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Wild at Heart, Blade Runner movies ... yes, but above all books.
Literature is an inexhaustible source, a bottomless pit, a gold mine.

Have you read The Pinocchio of Collodi The Sentinel that inspired Kubrick 2001 the Space Odyssey ?

Generally, the writer is suffering from painful and difficult transition from writing to the screen. Sometimes the adaptation is a massacre, other times it is une brillante réussite, mais jamais elle ne laisse indifférent.
Adapter redonne vie, offre des images, des couleurs, du son et insuffle un vent nouveau...

Quel(s) livre(s) rêvez-vous de voir adapter à travers les lumières et les images du cinéma?

Welcome Adress About A Program

Taxis égyptiens

Un vent d'indignation, de révolte vient de Tunisie...et fait le ménage, aspire la corruption, karchérise la dictature, décrasse 23 years of a "mafia" in place ... for the salvation of his people. Vendetta is the Tunisian. Tunisians, they are ready with pleasure a bit of the Marseillaise:

Come! Children of the fatherland!
The day of glory has arrived!
Against us, tyranny!

And especially a few of the "Protest Song"

How many years does it take to get to the mountain to the sea? How many years can a people exist before he get freedom? And how of times a man can turn his head and pretend it did not see anything? The answer, my friend, is carried by the wind, the answer is carried by the wind.

This storm Will it also "polish up", "refresh" the Algerian political? Egyptian?

From memory, I've never read a novel Tunisian, but a little literature is sometimes much better than long newspaper articles.
I warmly recommend Taxi of Khaled Alkhamissi. Egyptian journalist and filmmaker gives us a portrait of President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt through several conversations with taxi drivers in Cairo. Over the lines, often funny, touching and crammed with truth, one hears the cry of the people, rebellion rumbling quietly compartmentalized in cars. Men confide tell their troubled lives, pervasive corruption, poor quality of life, struggling to survive, the Islamization of the country, social injustice, freedom flouted. Conversations (without perhaps romanticized) feel the full experience nose. This book, well reviewed and sold, trafficked reads and teaches us as much as he entertains us.

Resuming a commentary on the south west:

SCANDAL IN HOSPITAL ROYAN

the occasion at the General Meeting of January 7, 2011, bringing together trade unions CFDT, CGT , FP and staff, the Director of the Hospital refused to receive the unions and staff representatives.

Management lobbied to push through an illegal way and a new organization labor, unfair and inadequate.

No negotiations have taken place during the Establishment of Technical Committee, joint body, which is the locus of dialogue provided by law.

A strike notice has been filed December 31, 2010. This gave 10 days notice to management, instead of 5, which normally constitute a strike notice, to engage with staff.

Instead the leadership opposes a plea in the legitimate demands of staff. The director saying "you do what you have to do," and slammed the door to dialogue.

Management, the Director, HRD, the deputy mayor ... they let the situation deteriorate voluntarily?

So come along and support the activities of trade unions and staff, Monday 10, Tuesday 11 and Wednesday, January 12 at the hospital in Royan.

We are all concerned with the proper functioning of the hospital. The staff is not a cost, as they would have us believe, but an asset to the hospital. Do not let

settle the conditions of degradation of the local utility.

INDIGNEZ-VOUS!

He has one foot in the grave and said himself, yet he is now the phenomenon of "literary" bookstores. Already 500,000 copies sold of indignant you! of Stéphane Hessel an old man who has the energy of a young man, saying out loud what some people think everything down and building on its experience and legitimacy to carry his advice in respect of all. Fighter, resistant, deported, escaped, escaped several times from the hands of the mower, founder of the Universal Declaration of Human rights activist, ambassador, CV before which people bow necessarily.
Whoever refused the rights of authors, does not care about bows, has what he wants to launch a movement of indignation, tickle the conscience, bring out our revolutionary fervor. He fought as indifference, vowed to resist. He stated a preference for extreme s'indigent for some things rather than people who do not respond to anything. He condemned the lack of humanity, the policies put in place, the economy financialized, inequality, non-compliance of the environment, the treatment of immigrants, the relationship between power and finance. He hits his fist on the table and invites us to do the same. It decrypts the opponents and hope that the indignation of the new generation can eradicate them.

indignation is to resist, fight, serve a cause and carry him round the waist.

And I can not resist the urge to quote some excerpts from his interview.

"We're not in the same situation (as the Vichy regime). But if we have opponents who are not as clear as were Petain or Laval, or Hitler, these opponents exist: it must know them, decrypt them and they must be resisted with the same energy, even if these opponents have lost the same violence.

You think of that?

A Sarkozy, the current government in Europe today. Because I think that this is not only to resist what is wrong in France but also in Europe and worldwide.
(...) what we lack, and I very sorry, they are Pierre Mendes-France of de Gaulle's ... figures that arouse enthusiasm.
(...) I believe there is now a serious complicity between the haves and the haves can finance. The proprietors of finance have taken fright, suddenly, two years ago, with the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers , which announced the crisis.
"Their buddies, the possessors of power, told them:
" Do not worry, you will be refloated to allow you to resume as before. "
This complicity
then perhaps what I am saying the most. If we had socialist governments or sufficiently anchored to the left, they could say to the bankers and financiers:
"You have demonstrated your incompetence, we'll nationalize and deal with the public interest as a compass, and not, like you, the interest of profit. "

For now, these governments do not exist, but that may change: I am very interested in what the country Mercosur and more generally in Latin America, where people like Chavez, Morales, Lula and Rousseff now, can play a role. This complicity between financial and political drama will continue maybe not.
Meanwhile, the state is a prisoner of financial and economic forces. Which state is defending itself? None. Instead, they support the economic power. The few measures that were taken during the banking crisis are just a tiny keys, so you should have told them: "You went to the disaster, you takes all. "Nobody has said.
(...) Is it going to then lead a revolt? Maybe, but I guess something rather non-violent.
What I ask people is to get out of their indifference and their discouragement, to mobilize their energies to say it has to be done, provided we resist as withstood time of the Occupation German. I mention elsewhere in the little book program of the National Council of Resistance saying these are strong values on which to rely for things to go in common sense ".

How To Read Suitcase Dimensions

Voeux présidentiels, pourquoi la CGT n’ira pas...

Why CGT will not ...

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

The year 2010 was marked by social mobilization unit to oppose pension reform based on unfair and inefficient bases.
Faced with the movement of exceptional size of several months, supported by an overwhelming majority of the population, which claimed the opening of actual negotiations, it was the intransigence of the next President of the Republic and the disdain for the against union positions on a societal choice that determines the future for millions of employees. In
Rather than provide answers to these claims, several political leaders, widely reported by the media launch an all out attack on working time and wages through the 35 hours in their sights.
CGT denounced in the strongest terms this attack to once again blame the employees on the grounds of excessive cost of labor in our country. The CGT called
its organizations and employees to resist any tendency of worsening living conditions and working would result from the questioning of 35 hours in both public and private sectors.
The best answer is to be together, rallying and demanding the inclusion of social demands in business and professional sectors.

What Do You Put On After A Brazilian Wax

La Grande Faucheuse

There is this great lady in the face slyly hooded sharp with a scythe that awaits us all and we dread so much. She wanders the sandstone of the time, silent and unobtrusive, without shade and without a trace, but if you feel an ill wind, then know that this is the same man who brought him. Most of the time, she arrived without warning, encrusted home unannounced, "ding dong" is on the landing, and a minute later, she hands you her cold hand and bone, you look at her gaping hole, you smiled while his deputy and takes you to the country where Hades is king at the back of his endless limbo. If you inadvertently come across, look away and run continuously. If she screams your name, apply a final administrative appeal, you never know. Do not confront her, she might win. Do not think about it, she laughs too often. Do not look, you will regret it. For some it is the voice of God, for others a mere courtesan, for others a bad gust of wind. For connoisseurs, it is nothing. But whatever it is, it holds between his nimble fingers all over our humble destinies. It you are the driver, but who decides if the shock will be fatal. It is you who pull the trigger, but who decides if the impact is fatal. It is you who parachute jump, but she decides whether to open. It is you who put on your skis, but who decides if an avalanche is fashionable ... She is there, constantly on the lookout, hidden in the shadows, maintaining their level of detail. The issue is not negotiable, it has the rigidity of the administration and it is up to its terrible reputation.

Death ... the Nobel laureate José Saramago (rest his soul) tells us about with humor and finesse in his novel The intermittent death. In an unnamed country, people stop dying overnight. What has happened to the Grim Reaper who is working as usual? Death on short plunges the country into chaos unnamed infernal Church threatens to disappear, hospitals overflowing with patients who can not die, the funeral and insurance go bankrupt, families have more legacies ... Until the day when death gets dressed, is "refausse" and sends a registered letter of the best intentions.

The fantasy of eternal life, injustice and terror death, the excesses of our society are treated in this novel with great wisdom and humor like no other. Please read before joining the underground city ...;)
