QT ATR with 250 Hrs for Jean-Philippe based East Midlands (Nottingham)

JB Hi

Like one of the sites you mention Aer Arann for those who have a QT ATR "dry" and 250 hdv, let me point out that you forgot. .. Air Contractors! Yep, here there are a lot of french
(25 to 30%) is mainly that can be based almost anywhere in Europe (a bit like NetJets) a condition of living in the vicinity (on) an international airport. So, surprise, surprise, almost all the "froggies" ACL databases are officially ... CDG - except me, based EMA ... looking for the intruder!

In fact a number of them perch in the province and they positioned toward the starting point of their shift one or two weeks. The company is ready to establish our tickets from PAX nearest airport even though it is not our base. For example in my case, generally from BHX (although I am based EMA).

Many of our OPL / PIC are Arann passes by and they ended at Air Contractors; less work, better pay, opportunity to live pretty much where you like, super premium flights / Nightstop allowances "(I can confirm!), no transport stress of PAX (with the paranoia that one undergoes last year), top hotels (a few exceptions), plus an operation varies comes full circle. In theory

ACL wants 500 hdv on ATRs for the OPL, but I had ... 1hdv machine (in circuit) and 400 hdv TT! Since then they have continued to recruit people with QT dry. They naturally prefer hdv on ATR, but they recognize that it is difficult to find experienced candidates willing to work mostly at night. That said, it's a lifestyle close enough to the long haul; we leave for 6 to 13 days in a row, Max is actually receiving a premium flight! We are apparently turboprop pilots the best paid in Europe (around 5100 Euros / month gross before tax for OPL first years like me).

addition to flights for which FedEx is the essence of our activity, we also fly (2 ATR72, 1 Hercules) on behalf of Swedish Post (ARN-MMX-MMX-JKG-UME) and chartered cargo in our name. For example, Thursday I'm going to Berlin-THF to position an ATR72 on NCB, take 4 tons of cargo on route ... ATH (4h30!), Then the next day Istanbul-SAW and finally returning 18 of THF (4.30 again)! Apparently, the freight is the stuff "her" on behalf of a group rock (I do not know which yet - we will perhaps tickets for concerts gratos)! On

after what I heard from our elders Arann, there is no picture, even if Arann is a good plan.

me, my advice, before making a QT dry and then look for an employer from first to tour the company that have the type of airplane, and say voila, I'm near a qt balabla pay me, do you think you hire me if I had?
No employer will respond yes I hire you if you qualify. Those who are not interested tell very clearly "not because you have a qualifying I'll take you." Those who are interested will say "well, we think make selections has such a date, you can not promise anything, but if you want to make a qualifying I advise you rather this or that school." These seriously consider your application when you come back with a qualification.

Do not hesistant to go watch either employers from the beginning, even before training.

Me I went to see the chief pilot of Air Tahiti. I just my private pilot. I'd tell him I'm really motivated by your company and in three years I'd theoretical ATPL CPL-IR-MCC. He was well fed, saying "I do not know how many pilots it takes me next year then in three years !!.."

I went back to see him a year later with my ATPL theoretical, I told him now I have my ATPL, now in two years ... etc etc, I went back up to see you all then He made me understand that with a qualifying ATR would be better, what I do.
Well I got my first job at Air Tahiti with 250 hours of flight and a QT atr dry while the box that normally does not recruit your Tahitian. Chris on

Mission in Chad with ASF Maule - 2002 - Welcome

It was a wonderful experience as an aeronautical point of view human. What to do. Unfortunately, it's hard to spend 6 weeks or more when you already have a job in the company. It is to be done during a period of inactivity or unemployment, or as most drivers ASF once retirement came. Feel free to contact them, they are at Orly South, is their website: http://www.asf-fr.org/

Hot Water Cornbread Jiffy

Even if the time is favorable for the jobs of airline pilots and for several years, it is always difficult to set foot in the door when leaving school.

Here are some information and advice to help that first step.

Good luck.
